The ambiance is lovely, and the spacious room with a comfortable bed was a pleasant surprise. Service, however, was inconsistent with some staff seeming unresponsive. Dining options were decent, with a good breakfast selection. Still, cleanliness needs attention. It has potential but requires more attention to detail to truly shine.

The hotel is too far from the city center!!! Prices are unreasonably high for basic items, like $12 for a local rum!!! The air conditioning issues were poorly managed!!! Overall, there are better options in Santo Domingo.
